Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is a disability welfare benefit run by the Department for Work and Pensions. It is aimed at those starting a PIP claim aged between 16 to pension age.PIP can assist with personal care needs as well as with mobility difficulties. It is paid at various rates and is not means-tested. It runs from 10am to 1pm on each day, with a half hour break between 11.15-11.45.It is a practical course delivered using a combination of trainer presentation, exercises and group discussion. Participants will be provided with supporting e-learning material, including PowerPoint slides and training packs, hosted on CPAG’s e-learning platform.What you will needParticipants will need a Wi-Fi connection and a suitable device to access the internet. Prior to the event, participants will receive an email with a link which they should use to join the event and access supporting materials.
