This eLearning course is relevant to Scotland only. It explains how to appeal decisions about Scottish benefits paid by Social Security Scotland.

Learn about the stages of an appeal from the initial decision to the tribunal  hearing. Explore what you need to do to have the best chance of winning. The course follows a case study about child disability payment through the appeals process but the general rules also apply to other Scottish benefits. There are some differences whilch you'll see as you go along. Also find out about short-term assistance, a benefit you might be able to get while you're appealing.

The course is full of examples and interactive elements to help you engage with the content and practice what you've learned.
